The Youngers

      Hello, I'm Ruth Younger I am married to Walter Lee Younger and live in his family's apartment on the South Side of Chicago. We have one boy, Travis, and Walter's Mama, Lena, and his sister, Benetha all live in it. We are recently overcoming the loss of their father, husband, and grandfather, Walter Lee Sr., and are expecting a whooping $10,000 check from the insurance company. I help out around the house trying to keep Walter happy but lately he has been acting different and like he doesn't want to be bothered. I clean the house trying to hide the worn out spots and make them look like new but there are so many it is hard to do. My dream, what I want to have in life for me and my family is a home. Somewhere where we can live comfortably, where Travis doesn't have to sleep on the couch, but most importantly somewhere we can all gather as a family and be happy together.
